Power Up Your Business: An Industry Changing Campaign

The Nuclear Energy industry has been quietly providing half of the USA's carbon free electricity. In January 2022, a survey of Nuclear CEO's revealed that the industry was preparing to double in size in the coming years, breaking a decades long industry plateau and bringing hundreds of new reactors online. But new reactors need new customers, so the industry turned to the Nuclear Energy Institute to help them orchestrate a Marketing & PR campaign that would connect with historically under-serviced industry segments, teach them how nuclear fits into their unique business cases, and persuade them to invest.
This multifaceted campaign involved synthesizing a video series from market research, script writing tailor made for the parlance of each industry, charismatic subject matter experts and engaging motion graphics to illustrate technical details and make the value proposition clear and convincing to it's audiences. We built a dedicated arm of the nei.org website to host these videos, created detailed social media profiles for our subject matter experts to broadcast their clout and authority, conducted an email campaign to thousands of recipients, printed collateral for experts to bring with them to conferences and closed meetings on capitol hill.
This campaign was a resounding success, bringing in dozens of new member companies and securing millions of dollars in investment. That success continued when the AI and Data Center boom dramatically increased the appetite for new energy sources, because the nuclear industry was poised and ready to receive new investors.
